Discussion - none. Motion passed <br />4-0. <br />Docket Item 2024-04 - Title 2.56.020, 14 & 16 - This item was <br />submitted by the Auditors office. CDS PLANNING MANAGER AYLING <br />presented. This item proposes to update the Kittitas County Code <br />2,56, 14, 12 and 16 allowing surveys to,be submitted and <br />recorded on paper and mylars. The county will scan the documents <br />for preservation and retention in accordance with the Washington <br />State Records Management. AUDITOR BRYAN ELLIOT provided <br />additional information. CDS Staff recommends approval of this <br />item as presented. Discussion - none. Motion passed <br />4-0. <br />Docket Item 2024-05 - Agricultural Tourism Definition - This <br />item was submitted by CDS staff. CDS DIRECTOR BALA presented. <br />This item would add a definition for Agritourism consistent with <br />the RCW 4.24.830. This will allow for future discussion and <br />development of requirements for short-term rentals. CDS Staff <br />recommends approval of this item as presented. Public comments <br />were received by the Confederated Tribes of the Colville <br />Reservation, Kittitas County Public Works and Hilary Jensen. <br />VICE -CHAIR LUNDIN opened public comment discussion. <br />Arne McGuffin - Chamber of Commerce CEO and President - Ms. <br />McGuffin stated she feels the state has a good start to the <br />definition, she has seen in other counties that this definition <br />does not help the locals both on the production side and the <br />tourism side. She is requesting to not go with the state RCW and <br />had submitted a proposed a new definition for review that would <br />benefit our county. <br />2024-9-I0 MINUTES 3 <br />
