8. On September 10'', 2024, at the public hearing the Planning Commission voted 4-0 <br />recommending approval of withdrawing Docket No. 2024-07 to the Board of County <br />Commissioners based on the information submitted in the record. <br />9. On September 11t', 2024, the Planning Commission approved the Findings of Facts <br />for Docket Number 2024-07. <br />Docket No. 2024-08: Amendment to Kittitas County Code (KCC 14) creating an <br />easier process for future updates due to WA State Code Amendments <br />1. The Planning Commission finds that Kittitas County Community Development <br />Services Department submitted a request. <br />2. Planning Commission reviewed the docketed request on August 13'�, 2024, at the <br />public meeting. Kittitas County Community Development Services Director <br />provided a summary of this request. <br />3. August 13'', 2024, at the public meeting, the Planning Commission briefly reviewed <br />and had general discussions regarding whether the proposed amendment was <br />appropriate. <br />4. Planning Commission finds that a sepa threshold determination of non -significance <br />(DNS) was issued with comments submitted regarding Docket 2024-08. <br />5. Planning Commission finds that a sepa threshold determination of non -significance <br />(DNS) was issued for the 2024 annual docket cycle with no timely appeals filed. <br />6. The Planning Commission finds there was no public testimony in opposition to the <br />proposal. <br />7. The Planning Commission finds that it's important to keep the adoption of state codes <br />to go in front of our local elected officials. <br />8. The Planning Commission finds that Docket 2024-08 as proposed makes it simple to <br />adopt approved state codes without understanding the impacts or unintended <br />consequences. <br />9.
