Staff was directed to bring forward <br />enabling documents for the Board of County Commissioners <br />consideration. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR SIGNATURE ON A <br />FLOOD CONSERVATION EASEMENT GRANTED TO KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Arden Thomas briefed the Board of County Commissioners on unpermitted <br />construction activities on a parcel in the 100-Year Floodplain. To <br />reconcile code enforcement issues it has been identified that a Flood <br />Conservation Easement on the adjacent vacant land and restricting the <br />area of development apart from grazing would be adequate mitigation. <br />Commissioner Cory Wright moved to Approve Resolution 2024-180 <br />Authorizing the Chair Signature on Flood Conservation Easement <br />Granted to Kittitas County by Dennis W. Klemmer and Terri L.Marchon. <br />Vice Chairman Laura Osiadacz seconded the motion, Resolution 2024-180 <br />approved. <br />At 2:02PM the Board of County Commissioners announced they would <br />recess into Executive Session for 10 minutes with Josh Fredrickson <br />and Chris Horner per RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) To discuss with legal <br />counsel representing the agency litigation that the agency <br />reasonably believes may be commenced by or against the agency, the <br />governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity.
