Community members find this arrangement user friendly <br /> as they can view what holdings are in their neighboring libraries. <br /> Through an interlocal agreement patrons can receive a card in <br /> any county library if they are a member in good standing at <br /> their hometown library. South Cie Elum residents can only get a <br /> "free" card at the Carpenter Memorial Library as the City of <br /> South Cie Elum pays a stipend to the City of Cie Elum which <br /> overrides the individual card payment. <br /> Unincorporated patronage is the highest it's ever been here at <br /> Carpenter Memorial Library. Unincorporated residents make up <br /> 53% of registered card holders; the City of Cie Elum comes in <br /> at 34%. Other users (Roslyn, South Cie Elum & Ellensburg) make <br /> up the remaining 13%. <br />
