It is the consolidation of activities spread across the County <br /> structure into one department,with the goal of increasing effective oversight, efficiency of funds, and transparency of <br /> how tax and fee revenue is used. In 2025 HS will have 1.8 FTE dedicated to the administration of almost 4.6 million <br /> dollars of primarily tax and fee revenue back into the community. <br /> Additional staff and program activities fall under the human services umbrella and are included in the human services <br /> budget, but at this time have not been consolidated into the HS division structure.These include the Veteran Services <br /> program,the Developmental Disabilities program,and elements of Harm Reduction.These programs operate <br /> successfully in their current structure and will not chance unless and until thorough assessment of benefits and <br /> Kittitas County Public Health Department—2025 Human Services Preliminary Budget Narrative Page 1 of 5 <br /> 23 <br />
