(See WAC-20-107 State Department of Revenue Rule 107). <br />3.7 PERMITS, FEES AND NOTICES <br />Delete Subparagraph 3.7.1 and substitute the following: <br />3.7.1 The Owner will pay for the plan review and building permit fees. The Contractor will <br />secure and pay for all other permits and governmental fees, licenses and <br />inspections necessary for proper execution and completion of the Work which are <br />customarily secured after execution of the Contract and which are legally required <br />when bids are received or negotiations concluded. <br />3.7.1.2 The Contractor shall pay for the use of municipal or private property for <br />storage of materials, parking, temporary obstructions, enclosures, opening and <br />patching of streets, etc., off of the property arising from construction and <br />completion of work. The Contractor shall furnish to the Owner and the Architect no <br />later than the preconstruction conference the permit numbers for all trades <br />working on this project and any other required permits that must be obtained <br />through governing agencies. <br />1. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) <br />7. Federal and State Safety Codes as adapted and/or modified by <br />the State and Local Ordinances <br />3.9 SUPERINTENDENT <br />Delete Subparagraph 3.9.1 in its entirety and substitute the following: <br />3.9.1 The Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent who shall be in attendance at the <br />Project site during the progress of the Work. The superintendent shall be satisfactory to the Owner <br />and the Architect and shall not be changed except with the consent of the Owner and the <br />Architect, unless the superintendent proves to be unsatisfactory to the Contractor and ceases to <br />be in his employ. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor and all communication given <br />to the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to the Contractor. Important communications <br />will be confirmed in writing. Other communications will be so confirmed on written request in <br />each case. <br />3.9.1.1 Contractor shall be responsible to fully inform his Superintendent of all project <br />progress, problems, decisions, changes, and deficiencies as they happen. <br />3.9.1.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Superintendent shall remain on the Project <br />site whenever Subcontractors of any tier are present and not less than eight (8) <br />hours per day, five (5) days per week unless the job is closed down due to a legal <br />holiday, a general strike, conditions beyond the control of the Contractor, <br />termination of the Contract in accordance with the Contract Documents, or Final <br />Completion is attained.
