critical to follow established guidelines <br />and requirements to ensure any proposed <br />solution can be implemented, pending funding <br />and various state and federal approvals. <br />Throughout this process, the County and <br />WSDOT maintained ongoing and substantive <br />discussions, including the creation of a WSDOT <br />M3 (multimodal, multidisciplinary, multi - <br />agency) Team. Complementing the work of the <br />M3 Team and the County, review and input was <br />also sought from the WSDOT M2 (multimodal, <br />multidisciplinary) Team. Table 1-1 provides more <br />information about these teams and their roles. <br />CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION <br />In addition, it was important to the County <br />and WSDOT to gather meaningful input <br />from local agencies and legislators, the <br />U.S. Forest Service (USFS), and business <br />representatives.
