BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2024 - <br />AUTHORIZING ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES TO BE <br />PERFORMED BY J-U-B ENGINEERING FOR THE BOWERS FIELD EAST TAXILANE <br />PAVEMENT REHABILITATION AND APRON RECONFIGURATION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS: J-U-B Engineers is currently the service provider to Public Works for projects at <br />Bowers Field selected from County procurement process in 2023; and <br />WHEREAS: Construction of the East Taxilane Pavement Rehabilitation and Apron <br />Reconfiguration project will occur this year; and <br />WHEREAS: Engineering construction support is required to comply with the Federal Aviation <br />Administration grant requirements and regulations; and <br />WHEREAS: J-U-B Engineers has submitted a task order for said project in the amount of <br />$99,610.00; and <br />WHEREAS: Funding for this task is through Federal Aviation Administration grant with a 10 <br />percent County match. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Director of Public Works to <br />sign contract documents with J-U-B Engineers to perform engineering <br />Construction support services for the Bowers Field East Taxilane Pavement <br />Rehabilitation and Apron Reconfiguration project. <br />DATED on this 2nd day of July 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
