<br /> <br />The Commissioners approved running the Department of Commerce funding and contracts through <br />Public Health and retaining the 10% for admin. The funds for Consolidated Homeless Grant funds will be <br />passed through to Hopesource. The BOCC has given Mrs. Loeffers direction to follow up on the uses for <br />the Local Document Recording Fee Support funding to be discussed at a future meeting. <br /> <br />Health Officer update <br />Mark Larson M.D reported briefly on the following: <br />• Avian Influenza and the work that is being done currently and the recent migration of birds <br />coming through Ellensburg increases the risk of chicken flocks being exposed. <br />• New air quality guidance coming out that will be much simpler.
