KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 11, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards signatures on a Professional Service agreement with <br />Morgan and Son earthmoving, Inc. <br />BACKGROUND: Material from the excavation and construction of Green Road have <br />been stockpiled at the new Lower County Transfer Station location. <br />These materials need to be removed and transported to the Ryegrass <br />LPL for use as cover material required for the closure plan. <br />Solid Waste obtained three quotes for the project and Morgan and <br />Sons Earthmoving was the low bid. <br />At this time, we have completed the review of the Professional <br />services agreement and have documents ready for Boards signature. <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office, Solid Waste, Morgan and Sons Earthmoving <br />Inc. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards Signature on Professional Service Agreement <br />with Morgan and Sons Earthmoving Inc. <br />HANDLING: Copy to Solid Waste and Morgan and Sons earthmoving Inc. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Professional Service Agreement. <br />LEAD STAFF: Casey McFarlane, Project Manager <br />
