CDS Director Chad Bala stated he will be coming back to the <br />Board for a letter of support to go ahead and pursue the grant. <br />DIRECTOR TASK ORDER AUTHORITY <br />CDS Director Chad Bala stated the notice of award to the two <br />consultants will go out this week. Director Bala is requesting <br />direction from the BoCC to prepare enabling documents to <br />authorize the CDS Director contract authority over task orders <br />for on -call planning services. The Board of County Commissioners <br />directed staff to proceed. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION-RCW: 42.30.110(1)(i)(ii): LITIGATION THAT THE <br />AGENCY REASONABLY BELIEVES MAY BE COMMENCED BY OR AGAINST THE <br />AGENCY, THE GOVERNING BODY, OR A MEMBER ACTING IN AN OFFICIAL <br />CAPACITY. <br />At 1:53 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced they would recess into <br />Executive Session for 15 minutes with per RCW 42.30.110(1) (i) <br />(ii) To discuss litigation that the agency reasonably believes <br />may be commenced by or against the agency, the governing body, <br />or a member acting in an official capacity. Possible action <br />anticipated. <br />At 2:08 p.m. the Board of County Commissioners extended the <br />Executive Session for an additional 10 minutes. <br />At 2:19 p.m. the Board of County Commissioners reconvened out of <br />Executive Session with direction to pursue continuation of a <br />warrant of abatement to Superior Court. <br />OTHER BUSINESS - No Action to be taken <br />There was no other business. <br />Meeting concluded at 2:19 p.m. <br />2024-05-13 MINUTES 2 <br />
