Accarate <br />ELEf,rRrf uHuilrrtp. txq. <br />COHITERCIAI, INDUSTRIAL <br />KITTITAS CO U NTY WASH I NGTON <br />JAIL PLC REPLACEMENT Rev. 1 <br />Ausust 1. 2023 <br />SUMMARY: Accurate Electric Unlimited (AEU) is an Washington electrical contractor that designs, <br />builds, and services correctional detention security electronic systems in the Pacific Northwest. Kittitas <br />county jail has requested replacement of the existing PLC hardware in anticipation of end-of-life forthe <br />existing hardware. Rather than a like-for-like replacement, AEU proposes utilizing Modicon M-340 PLC <br />to replace the existing Modicon Quantum PLC and Advantys remote input/output as the upgrade path <br />to replace Quantum. Replacement of Quantum/Advantys like for like would exceed the cost of the <br />alternate replacement path used in this proposal. <br />COORDINATED SCOPE: <br />AEU will provide the equipment, software, licenses, integration, and execution for replacing the <br />existing controls PLC system. The delivery method is design-build. <br />Scope of Supply by AEU <br />. Replace existing Modicon Quantum PLC (with Advantys input/output modules) with Modicon <br />PLC and new input and output devices. <br />r Provide PLC licensing and upgrades as required. <br />. lntegrate new PLC with existing HMl. <br />r lncorporate 34 existing 2nd floor cameras to HMI/Touchscreen including adding icons and <br />integrated call-ups associated with the cameras (this assumes that the doors to have cameras <br />associated already appear on existing HMI screens,) <br />. Upgrade Annex HMI station license and replace workstation computer. <br />r A separate cost can be provided for added rooftop cameras or incorporated into a revision of <br />this proposal. <br />r Provide integration to reproduce existing functions of the touch-screen control system. <br />r Provide dedicated maintenance computer for maintenance of completed system. <br />o Provide new PLC equipment in existing enclosure, utilize existing relays and terminals. Replace <br />existing power supplies within existing PLC enclosure. <br />r As-built red-line documentation of work completed. <br />r Provide electrical permit. <br />CTARIFICATIONS <br />1. Owner is responsible to provide and maintain full-conversion UPS power supply protection <br />to new PLC equipment. <br />2.
