05/13/2024 MINUTES 2 <br />Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve the appointments of Bradley <br />Esparza and Joan Neslund to the Kittitas County Homelessness & <br />Affordable Housing Committee for a term effective immediately, <br />noting that Mr. Esparza and Ms. Neslund will be completing former <br />member terms. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2024-087 PROSECUTOR OFFICE CLOSURE TRAINING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution No. 2024-087, a <br />Resolution Authorizing the Closure of the Kittitas County <br />Prosecuting Attorney’s Office as presented, noting it was moving the <br />day (one time) for their monthly inhouse training. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION COUNTY FACEBOOK COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board determined that for the week of May 13, 2024, they would <br />post the following on their Facebook page: May 15th Parking Lot in <br />front of Courthouse will be closed due to HVAC work scheduled at the <br />Courthouse; share the press release for Senator Patty Murray’s visit <br />to Kittitas County. <br /> <br />UPDATE BOCC/ DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Each Commissioner was assigned three different Department Heads to <br />meet with on a weekly basis for the year.
