Protect and Enhance Cle Elurn's Historic Downtown. This is done through <br />successful partnerships with multiple layers of collaborative opportunity, year,round, <br />marketing our clowntown and tourism in Cle Flum and Upper County. Through an <br />exhaustive Strategic planning process in 2O23, we have also added an emphasis on <br />cultivation of a community centered downtown core for fanrilies to gather, shop and <br />play. <br />ln the pasl 4-years, we have seen an exponential growth in our communities and in <br />event attendance. We have (3) signature events for the year, including Pioneer <br />Days, Boo-Elum and Christmas in Cle EIum. Pioneer Days, a heritage celebration of <br />over 50 years, had an attendance of over 4,319 (obtained through an informai <br />survey and structured estimate). h 2423, there was a minimum of 696 visits (per zip <br />code entry) to the UKCPioneerDays.org website wilh the 764 new user visits during <br />the Pioneer Days event window (Google Analytics) -- 72.8% of visitors were using a <br />mobile device. CEDA had an event engagemenl of 4,319 from Jurre 25,2A23 - Jnly <br />B, 2023. This is an increase of 2,249 as compared lo 2022 data. Going off of our zrp <br />code entries {opt. online pop-up) 3% of the entries were out-of-state zip codes, <br />including, AL, AZ, CA, FL, lD, M'. MT, NV, TN, & VA. Overall, 33% of entries were <br />outside of a s0-mile radius of Cle Elum. This leaves a statistical probabiliiy of <br />approx. 1,425 visitors, from outside of the 5O-mile radius for the Pioneer Days event <br />in 2023. <br />We believe that the increased aitendance is due to the increased partrrerships in the <br />communiiy and the fact that Cle Elum has been identified as a location that offers <br />year-round opporiunities, for all ages. Through our marketing outreach. the Cle Flum <br />Downtown Association has begun partnering with a variety of orgarrizations and <br />businesses, including NW Roots Construction, the Cle Elum School District, Dru <br />Bru. Snoqualmie Ski and Snowboarding, Giri Scouts.
