KITTITAS COUNTY <br />PUBLIC WORKS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM April 22, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others: Josh Fredrickson, Arden Thomas, Cameron Curtis, Rebecca <br />Cruse, Public Works; Chad Bala, Jessica Miller, Community Development <br />Services; Jesse Eldred, Stephanie Hartung, Prosecuting Attorney's <br />Office; No members of the public. <br />At 1:33 PM Chairman Brett Wachsmith opened the Public Works Study <br />Session. <br />No Citizen Comments. <br />At 1:34PM the Board of County Commissioners announced they would <br />recess into Executive Session for 10 minutes with Josh Fredrickson, <br />Arden Thomas, Chad Bala, Stephanie Hartung, and Jesse Eldred per RCW <br />42.30.110 (i) To discuss with legal counsel representing the agency <br />matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with <br />legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential <br />litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member <br />acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, <br />when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in <br />an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. Action <br />anticipated. <br />At 1:44PM the Board of County Commissioners extended the Executive <br />Session for an additional 10 minutes. <br />At 1:54PM the Board of County Commissioners extended the Executive <br />Session for an additional 5 minutes. <br />At 1:59PM the Board of County Commissioners reconvened out of <br />Executive Session with direction to extend the warrant for 6-months. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE THE RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE 2024 ANNUAL PAINT <br />STRIPE PROGRAM CONTRACT <br />Josh Fredrickson stated one bid was received for 2024 Annual Paint <br />Striping Program and requested the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve Resolution 2024-072 awarding the contract to Stripe Rite Inc. <br />Vice Chairman Laura Osiadacz moved to approve Resolution 2024-072 and <br />Commissioner Cory Wright seconded the motion.
