Is the property Kittitas County Tax Title Property? Unable to determine.
If the property is Kittitas County Tax Title Property — what was owed in taxes & fees at the
time of foreclosure? Unable to determine.
Is the property surplus to the County's needs? Yes.
What is the value of the property? $10,250.00 ($1,500.00 per acre).
Is the property considered "buildable"? Per CDS — Washington State Department of
Ecology would need to identify ordinary high water mark before a buildable site could be verified.
As it is the decision of the Board to proceed to dispose of the property — by what process
shall it be sold? Treasurer to directly negotiate with adjoining property owner, Springwood
Ranch.
Terms of Sale: Kittitas County agrees to sell the property to Springwood Ranch for $150.00
(approximately 1/7 of the total amount accrued for the cost of research and publication fees).
As we have been unable to determine how and when Kittitas County came into ownership of the
property, the sale document will be a Quit Claim Deed. Purchase is to be on a cash basis only.
If Springwood Ranch fails to agree to the terms as stated, and submit the purchase price within
45 days of the date of contact by the Treasurer to set up the appointment to process the
paperwork changing ownership, the property will be sold to the highest bidder at a live auction.
Property #3
Parcel # 484934
Map # 18-19-33040-0004
Legal Description: ACRES 5.15, PTN NW'/4 OF SE Y4 TAX 24; SEC 33; TWP 18; RGE 19;
(KIDS POND)
Information on property provided by CDS: Approximately 5.15 acres, zoned commercial
agriculture.
Type of Deed: Quit Claim Deed.
Date of Acquisition: July 17, 1967.
Is the property Kittitas County Tax Title Property? No.
If the property is Kittitas County Tax Title Property — what was owed in taxes & fees at the
time of foreclosure? Not applicable.
Is the property surplus to the County's needs? No.
What is the value of the property? Undetermined.
Is the property considered "buildable"? Per CDS — appears to be buildable.
Finding: Property is incorrectly identified as Kittitas County Tax Title Property, directed
Assessor's Office to change ownership to Kittitas County, under the General Fund.
Property #4
Parcel # 797734
Map # 19-17-19020-005
Legal Description: ACRES 2.10, SEC 19; TWP 19; RGE 17; NE % NW'/TAX NO 4; S OF
RR & YAKIMA RIVER APPROX 5 MILES NW OF THORP
Information on property provided by CDS: Approximately 2.10 acres, zoned forest & range.
Type of Deed: Treasurer's Deed.
Date of Acquisition: 1922.
Is the property Kittitas County Tax Title Property?
