2024-03-26 MINUTES <br />services and answer any questions from the Board. Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve a service <br />agreement with Burnham Gibson for 457 plan review and advisement. Commissioner Wright seconded the <br />motion. Motion was approved; 3:0 and the Chair signed the agreement. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN KITTITAS <br />COUNTY AND LOCAL 2658 (APPRAISERS) <br />Director Killgore presented the 2024 CBA between Kittitas County and Local 2658 (Appraisers) for approval. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve the CBA. Commissioner Wright seconded the motion. Motion was <br />approved; 3:0. <br />CLOSED SESSION – RCW 42.30.140(4)(B) <br />The OPMA does not apply to that portion of a meeting during which the governing body is planning or adopting the <br />strategy or position to be taken by the governing body during the course of any collective bargaining negotiations, or <br />grievance or mediation proceedings, or reviewing the proposals made in the negotiations or proceedings while in progress. <br />The Board entered closed session to discuss collective bargaining. The Board exited closed session with no action <br />taken. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />The Board discussed a letter to be sent to a member of the public. <br />Commissioner Wright advised the Board that he is working with KVEC Director Porterfield to review her job <br />description.
