BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - <br />AUTHORIZATION TO EXECUTE A LEASE FOR PROPERTY AT BOWERS FIELD <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County owns and leases property at Bowers Field Airport within the <br />Aeronautical Area for aviation purpose; and <br />WHEREAS: Craig Clerf has a private hangar located within the Aeronautical Area on Lot H- <br />19 of Bowers Field Airport Binding Site Plan 2"d Amendment BS-21-00001, as <br />recorded on January 19, 2023, in Volume 45 pages 80-83; and <br />WHEREAS: The current 25-year land lease is due for renegotiation utilizing the new lease <br />template; and <br />WHEREAS: The new lease includes the current lease rate with a lease term of fifteen (15) <br />years ending February 28, 2039; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners did hold the required public <br />hearing considering the lease on February 20, 2024. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the execution of the attached lease for property <br />at Bowers Field Airport, Lot H-19. <br />DATED this 20th day of February 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
