BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF HITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.2024- <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE 2023 <br />MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN HITTITAS COUNTY AND MID-COLUMBIA <br />REGIONAL FISHERIES ENHANCEMENT GROUP <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County and Mid -Columbia Fisheries entered into a Memorandum of Agreement <br />(MOA) authorized by Kittitas County Resolution No. 2023-056; and <br />WHEREAS: Mid -Columbia Fisheries and Kittitas County have secured additional grant funds to <br />implement the Scope of Work described in the MOA; and <br />WHEREAS: The Parties desire to amend the agreement to include these secured grant funds in the <br />MOA financial plan. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED The Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Chair's signature <br />on the first amendment to the 2023 Memorandum of Agreement between Kittitas County <br />and Mid -Columbia Regional Fisheries Enhancement Group. <br />DATED this 6' day of February, 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KTTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chair <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chair <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
