KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 27, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Board approval on Resolution Acknowledging contract <br />changes. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County entered into a Professional Service Agreement with <br />JM Pacific for the Upper County Court Parking Lot repairs. During <br />the project subgrade repairs were needed due to the unsuitable soil <br />which was encountered. <br /> <br /> To repair the unsuitable soil the contractor needed to adjust some of <br />the quantities of materials needed for the project. In addition, the <br />engineer recommended seal coated and crack sealed the entire parking <br />lot to prolong the life of the asphalt. <br /> <br /> With these changes the contract increase is $9879.29 bringing the <br />total to $105,159.29. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: JM Pacific and SCJ Alliance. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards signature on the Resolution Acknowledging the <br />contract changes. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Auditor <br /> Copy – Maintenance <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Project Ledger <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey, Facilities & Waste Operations Director <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
