ECoLoGy reserves the right to requestproof of cornpliance by subgrantees and cnntractor.s. <br />d) RECIPIENT's activities unde| this Ag'eement shall be subject to the review and approval by ECoLoGy for the extent andchalacter ofall wolk and services. <br />2, AMENDMENTS AND MODIF.CATIONS <br />This Agt'eement rnay be altered, autended or waived only by a written arnendment executed by both parties. ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND CULTUP.AL RESOURCES <br />RIcIPIENT shall take all reasonable acticn to avoid, minimize, or mitigate adverse effects to ar.chaeological and histor.ic <br />archaeological sitcs, historic buildings/sttuctuLes, traditional cultural places, sacr.ed sites, or othel cultural resources, hereby <br />referred to as Cultural Resources. <br />The RECIPIENT must agree to hold harnrless ECOLOGY in relation to any claim related to cultural Resources discovered, <br />disturbed, or damaged due to the RECIpiENT's project funded uncler this Agr.eement. <br />RECIPIENT shall: <br />a) contact thc ECoLOGY Program issuing the grant or loan to discuss any cultural Resour.ces r.equirements for their project:' cultural Resoutce consultation and Rer iew should be initiated early in the project planning process and must be cornpletedprior to experrditure ofAgreernent funds as required by applicable State aud Federal requirernents.* For state funded construction, dernolitior, ot' land acquisitions, comply with Governor Executive or.der 2 t -02, Archaeological <br />and Cultulal Resources. <br />Ternplate Version 1 2/ I 0/2020
