<br />12/19/2023 MINUTES 6 <br /> <br />AGREEMENT CITY OF KITTITAS – LIBRARY SERVICES COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Approve an Agreement between Kittitas County and the City of Kittitas; <br />Library Board of Trustees, in the amount of $9,500.00, to provide <br />library services for Kittitas County residents living outside the city <br />limits of Kittitas, from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT CITY OF ROSLYN – LIBRARY SERVICES COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Approve an Agreement between Kittitas County and the City of Roslyn; <br />Library Board of Trustees, in the amount of $24,000.00, to provide <br />library services for Kittitas County residents living outside the city <br />limits of Roslyn, from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT CITY OF ELLENSBURG – LIBRARY SERVICES COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Approve an Agreement between Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg; <br />Library Board of Trustees, in the amount of $120,000.00, to provide <br />library services for Kittitas County residents living outside the city <br />limits of Ellensburg, from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br /> <br />AMENDMENT COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE SHERIFF <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to acknowledge the Amendment to the <br />Memorandum of Understanding between the Kittitas County Sheriff’s office <br />and Comprehensive Healthcare, in the amount of $483,552.00, to provide <br />support for responding and treatment for those people incarcerated at <br />the Kittitas County Jail, with mental health disorders, from October 1, <br />2022, through September 30, 2025. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Angela Lang presented photos of the hillside area near Craigs Hill. She <br />said the residents of Kittitas County would like to be heard and <br />requested the Board of County Commissioners hold a Town Hall meeting in <br />Ellensburg. <br /> <br />Cheryl Chance encouraged the Board to set up a Town Hall meeting to <br />obtain fresh insight on the issues up on Craigs Hill. <br /> <br />Penny Whitman said she was not opposed to change but felt the best place <br />for a sidewalk up on Craigs Hill by the American Legion was through the <br />middle of the park. <br /> <br />Jeff Whitman felt their concerns were not being heard and questioned <br />what roads were going to be dug up in the Craigs Hill area.
