Intersections <br />1. Location of new arterial and collector streets shall be in accordance with the <br />WSDOT Design Manual, current edition. <br />2. All new intersections will have a minimum straight tangent length prior to <br />beginning any curves in accordance with the WSDOT Design Manual, current <br />edition. <br />3. The design of intersections on arterial streets shall be in accordance with the <br />WSDOT Design Manual, current edition. <br />4. Separation of intersections shall be in accordance with WSDOT Design Manual, <br />current edition. <br />D. Residential streets should be designed to direct traffic to collector streets and <br />adequately provide for circulation and movement within the subdivision. <br />E. Vertical Alignment - Connection with existing streets shall be smooth transitions and <br />existing grades shall be shown for at least 150 ft on all sides of the connection. Vertical <br />alignment designs shall be in accordance with the applicable WSDOT or AASHTO <br />Design Manual. <br />F. The grade and ground lines of all streets that dead end, except cul-de-sacs, shall be <br />continued for 500 ft beyond the proposed construction, unless that property is under <br />different ownership. The grade and ground lines of all arterials shall be designed to <br />continue 1000 ft beyond the end of proposed construction unless that property is <br />under different ownership. <br />G. Sight Triangle Standards shall be in accordance with the WSDOT Design Manual, <br />current edition. Site triangles shall be shown on the preliminary and final land <br />segregation documents. Site triangles shall apply to all private and public roads. Plat <br />notes and covenants shall reflect that site triangles shall be kept free of all trees, <br />bushes, landscaping, fences or obstacles.
