Construction Traffic Control <br />12.05.03.010 Purpose. <br />12.05.03.020 Applicability. <br />12.05.03.030 Requirements. <br /> <br /> <br />Article I. General Information <br /> <br />12.05.01.010 Purpose. <br />The purpose of this article is to establish the requirements for construction and inspection of <br />roadways, bridges, drainage facilities, utilities, and any other construction within current or <br />proposed public right of way in Kittitas County. <br /> <br />12.05.01.020 Applicability. <br />This article applies to all private developers, county forces, county contractors, or private <br />contractors who are involved in the performance of any work, including subdivision, commercial, <br />industrial, and right-of-way development which requires approvals from the Kittitas County <br />Public Works. This work includes but is not limited to: all road, bridge, and drainage facility <br />construction (private, public, or proposed for adoption on the county road system) or any other <br />construction and work performed within the current or proposed county right-of-way. <br /> <br />12.05.01.030 Documentation and Final Acceptance. <br />Upon completion of all work, the applicant shall request final acceptance by the Kittitas County <br />Engineer. The County Engineer shall review all documents including test reports, inspection <br />certifications, daily diaries, and any notes made by the County Engineer or designee, and county <br />inspectors during site visits and project inspections. The County Engineer, the applicant and the <br />applicant’s engineer shall conduct an on-site review of the project to ascertain the level of <br />completeness of the project including cleanup. If the County Engineer is satisfied that the <br />project has been completed in conformance with the approved plans, these standards, and all <br />other requirements that may have been imposed by means of approved change order, he/she <br />shall provide the applicant with a written acceptance. If additional work or documentation is <br />required, the County Engineer shall prepare a letter to the applicant outlining a list of actions <br />that shall be taken before final approval and acceptance. <br /> <br />12.05.01.040 County Forces and County Contract Road Inspection.
