It will be the applicant’s responsibility to contact all utility companies in <br />order to assure that all lines, conduits, poles, vaults, and other appurtenances <br />are properly located and their installation is coordinated with the road <br />construction. All utility relocation work shall be at the expense of the applicant <br />and must be in accordance with Title 12 of the Kittitas County Code, prior to <br />road acceptance. <br />11. Culvert pipe within the County Road right-of-way with exposed ends shall <br />be 18-inch diameter minimum galvanized corrugated metal or ADS N-12 with <br />beveled ends per KCC 12.04.05.080 unless otherwise noted. <br />12. Buried utilities are shown in their approximate location. The applicant <br />shall have utilities verified on the ground prior to any construction. <br />13. Onsite erosion control measures shall be the responsibility of the <br />applicant and be in place prior to construction. Any problems occurring before <br />final acceptance by Kittitas County and within 18 months thereafter shall be <br />corrected by the applicant. At the end of 18 month period, or as otherwise <br />directed by the County Engineer, the applicant shall remove all temporary, non- <br />degradable erosion control measures. The applicant is responsible to obtain <br />any necessary permits, including but not limited to NPDES. <br />14. The applicant shall be responsible for controlling dust that is generated <br />by the construction project. <br />15. Any revisions to plans must be made by the applicant’s engineer and <br />approved by the County Engineer prior to any implementation in the field. <br />16. All pavement markings shall conform to the requirements of the MUTCD. <br />17. Prior to striping and sign installation, the applicant shall contact the <br />Kittitas County Public Works Department for coordinate approval of the striping <br />and sign installation. <br />15. Slopes shall be stabilized to prevent erosion. In case erosion occurs in <br />ditches, ditch lining is to be provided as directed and specified by the <br />County Engineer.
