General Management and Administration <br />•Project Management and Administrative Services – The Architect shall manage the <br />Architect’s services, coordinate its services with those services provided by the owner and <br />the Owner’s consultants, attend project meetings virtually or in person as agreed, <br />communicate with members of the project team and report progress to the Owner. <br />o The Architect shall establish an initial schedule for Architect’s services, <br />design, reviews, and approvals of authorities having jurisdiction, contracting <br />and construction, substantial and final completion. <br />Supplemental Services <br />The following services, which are in addition to the usual and customary basic design services, <br />are proposed for your project. <br />•Cost Estimating - Quantity take-offs and unit cost pricing of materials, labor, tools, <br />equipment, and services required for the Work plus estimates for the Contractor's <br />supervision cost, Work required by General and Supplementary Conditions, and an <br />allowance for a reasonable Contractor's overhead and profit. <br />o An allowance is being provided to cover cost estimating services. <br />o Predesign/Schematic Design Cost Estimates are limited to 1 Draft issue and <br />1 Final Cost Estimate. <br />o The Cost Estimate will be developed with all components identified above <br />to be in one estimate with the Bid Alternate as a separate line item. <br />Tasks: <br />Architectural Services are calculated on an average hourly rate of $160/hour for <br />•Field Visits to documents existing site conditions and review of project scope. <br />•Base CAD files and Existing Conditions Inclusions. <br />•Prepare Scoping Drawings (PreDesign/Schematic) to be issued as a PDF document. <br />•Develop Predesign/Schematic Design Drawings and assist with cost estimating. <br />•Project Narratives/Product Specifications <br />•Sketchup Rendering for Guard Desk at the Jail Annex <br />•Virtual Meetings (In person as requested) <br />•Project Administration Services <br />•Consultant Coordination <br />Total Architectural Fee: $33,440.00 <br />Consultant Services: <br />Total Fees plus 10% Mark-up <br />Mechanical/Plumbing/Electrical Engineering: $ 8.800.00 <br />Structural Engineering: $13,750.00 <br />Cost Estimating Allowance: $ 4,400.00 <br />Reimburseables plus 20% Mark-Up $ 600.00
