lntroduction <br />The Ellensburg tourism strategic plan provides a five-year guide to growing tourism as an important tool <br />for economic development. <br />The plannlng process was initiated by the Lodging lax Advisory Cornmittee (LTAC) and undertaken by <br />Ellensburg's destination marketing organization, the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce. The plan was <br />developed with input from the Strategic Plan Committee. An independent marketing firm, JayRay Ads and <br />PR, facilitated the planning process, research and final plan production. lnput on the plan was sought <br />through interviews of tourism-engaged local leaders and a survey of recent visitors.
