High Priority, <br />Page 28, Figure 9, Ellensburg Core Area plan <br />Page37, Section 4.4, Enhancing the Visitors Experience, 4,4.7 Relocate visitors; centerto <br />the core of downtown. <br />The long-term management of the property will fall under the City Parks & Recreation Department. <br />Four years ago, the City adopted a new special event process to better streamline and support <br />event planners, this process is administered by the Parks & Recreation Director. The day to day <br />maintenance of the property will be the responsibility of the City Parks Maintenance Division. <br />Additionally, the park restroom has a concierge's office that will be staffed daily during summer <br />months by a part time employee or volunteer, Their role will to ensure that the park and restrooms <br />are clean, address park issues as they arise, and to provide information about the downtown. <br />8, Project Readiness: Please provide a detailed project schedule, including milestones <br />necessary for completion as mentioned in question 1 above. On the schedule, indicate items <br />completed and exactly where in the schedule the project is at this time. Be sure to include <br />expected completion date. <br />Park construction is anticipated to begin in July 2023, the construction timeline has the park being <br />completed by December 2023. Park design has already been approved by the City Landmarks & <br />Design Commission, plans are currently in the review process, which is overseen by the City of <br />Ellensburg Community Development Department. The bulk of the funding for this project is coming <br />from funding the City received through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and City park impact <br />fees. The budget for park construction is $2.4mm. <br />9.
