"Nursing bome" nreans any facility licqnsed by the Washington State Dgpatment of Social and Health <br />Sery!-ces Crr other appropriate state-a.gencies. providing convalescent. chronic or dorniciliary care {or a <br />period in excess of 24 consecutive lrours. for three or more patients or residents not related by blood <br />or marriaggto the licensee. <br />Office. &usin-ess or Professional, "Business or professional office" means an office wherein business, <br />technical or scientific services are rendered involving labor. skill, education and Special knowledge for <br />certain co$pgnsatlorr or profit, but such labor- skill, education and snecial knowledge being <br />predominqrrtly mental or intellectual, rather than physical, manual or mereantile in nature. Examples <br />of such uses would include, but not be limited to, the offices of lawyers. accountants, brokers. and <br />insurange agents. <br />Office. Medical, "Medical office" means an office or clinic used primarily by physicians. dentists, <br />optometrisls- ptrd-similar nersonnel for the treatment and examination of patients solely on an <br />outpatient basis.; provided, that no overnight patients shall be kept on the premises. <br />"Petsotal iervices" means services rendered to individuals for thqlr p.ersonal physical appearance and <br />conditionieg-nggds. Examples would include but not be limited to the follgwing types of services: <br />barber, beautician, masseur. and steam and sauna baths. <br />"Places of assembly" means a structure for oroups of people to gather for arr event or regularly <br />scheduled prsgram. Examples include but are not lirxited to arenas. religjgus institutions. lecture halls, <br />banquet facilities. and similar facilities. <br />"Publiq agency or utility office" means a building or ponion thereof usgd primarily for administration <br />purppses by a public agency or uti[$/- <br />"Recreation - indoor commercial" means a commercial recreation land use conducted entirely withirr <br />a building, including. but nqt limited to, athletic and.health glubs. pool or billiard halls. skating rinks. <br />5y[imming-pools. and tennis coutts. <br />"Recreation - outdoot commercial" nteans a conrmercial recreation land use conducted prilnarily <br />outdoors. including. but not limited to, water parks. amusement parks. anfuniniature golf_gourses. <br />l'Regional retail commercial" refers to any use which involves the display and sale of retail consumer <br />goods as.part of a reqional retail master siteplan. Permittecl uses and exceptions are descibed within <br />ECC15.390.030. Regional retail commqfqlal developments contain a minimum of 100,000 square feet <br />of enclosed gross floor area of allowable uses; provided, that at least 50,000 square feet nrust be used <br />by one retailer. <br />Serl'or citizen assisted hou5ingl' means housinq in a building consisting of two or mole.dwelling_llnils <br />restllcted to oecupanev bv at least one occupant 62 vears of aqe or older per urrit, and must include <br />at least twg of the following support seruices: <br />1.
