All counties and their subcontractors must: <br />a. Ensure the security of Confidential lnformation, and <br />b. When transporting client records containing Confidential lnformation outside a Secure Area, one or <br />more of the following as appropriate: <br />(1) Using a Trusted Network; or <br />(2) Encrypting the Confidential lnformation, inctuding: <br />(a) Email and/or email attachments <br />(b) Confidential lnformation when it is stored on portable devices or media including but not <br />limited to laptop computers and flash memory devices. <br />13. Data Security Requirements. Exhibit A shall only apply to the County if the County possesses 150 or <br />more DSHS records across all programs or services throughout their organization, or transmits more <br />than 5 records at one time. <br />14.
