SCOPE OF WORK (continued)
The annual report will summarize and interpret the following information (for all four quarters):
o All groundwater monitoring data, including laboratory and field data for the sampling periods
o Statistical results and/or any statistical trends, including findings of any statistical increases for the
year including time series plots of concentrations
o A summary of concentrations above the maximum contaminant levels of Chapter 173-200 WAC,
Water Quality Standards for Groundwaters of the State of Washington
o A summary of the leachate results compared to groundwater samples
o A summary of the landfill gas conditions
o Static water level readings for each monitoring well for each sampling event
o Potentiometric surface elevation maps depicting flow direction for each sampling event
o Groundwater flow velocity calculations for each sampling event and a discussion of any trends or
changes during the year
o Geochemical evaluation, including cation -anion balancing and trilinear and/or stiff diagraming for
each sampling event noting any changes or trends in water chemistry for each well during the year
One hard copy of the final report will be submitted to Kittitas County, Ecology, and the Health Department.
BUDGET
We estimate that the scope of services described herein will require a budget of $293,109.64. A breakdown of
these costs is presented on the attached spreadsheet. Parametrix agrees not to exceed the above budget without
the County's authorization. However, if during the work, a level of effort beyond the scope of our work appears
necessary, Parametrix will contact the County immediately to discuss any necessary modifications to the scope of
services and/or budget estimate.
The budget presented in this proposal reflects an estimate based on our current understanding of the project
requirements for a scope of work developed from information provided. Parametrix reserves the right to transfer
hours and budget dollars between tasks to satisfy project requirements. The budget also reflects estimated direct
costs to the project. Parametrix may also transfer funds allocated for direct costs to professional/technical hours,
or vice versa, to satisfy project requirements.
Kittitas County Solid Waste
Groundwater Monitoring Well, LPL Closure, Biosolids Expansion 10 September 2023
Area, and Air Permit
