BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIOi <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - I �5' 1 <br />RATIFYING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL AID <br />PROJECT PROSPECTUS CONSTRUCTION PHASE FOR THE VANTAGE HIGHWAY <br />PAVING PROJECT CRP 317-23 <br />WHEREAS: Federal fund redistribution was requested for the resurfacing of Vantage <br />Highway and notice was received of award September 1, 2023; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works has worked to prepare plans, specifications and <br />estimate for the project; and <br />WHEREAS: In order to obtain obligation authority for project funding, Kittitas County Public <br />Works is requesting the Washington State Department of Transportation release <br />the federal funds for the construction phase; and <br />WHEREAS: The Chair did sign a Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus <br />acknowledging the project has been reviewed and is consistent with the County's <br />comprehensive plan for community development; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby ratify the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Vantage Highway Paving Project <br />CRP 317-23. <br />DATED on this 1 Ith day of September 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />ABSENT <br />Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of thg Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />
