BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - III - <br />TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR <br />2023 REMEDIATION WORK AT THE UPPER KITTITAS COUNTY <br />MAINTENANCE FACILITY AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY ENGINEER TO <br />EXECUTE SAME <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids for 2023 Remediation Work <br />at the Upper Kittitas County Maintenance Facility in accordance with RCW <br />39.04.155 Small Works Roster Contract Procedures; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were received and opened on July 19, 2023, at 10:00 am; and <br />WHEREAS: One responsive bid was received for the prescribed work; and <br />WHEREAS: The County Engineer recommends the responsive bid from Interwest <br />Construction, Inc., of $329,520.00 be accepted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the contract for 2023 <br />Remediation Work at the Upper Kittitas County Maintenance Facility in the <br />amount of $329,520.00. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign the contract <br />documents for said project. <br />DATED on this 24th day of July 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy -Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, <br />WASHiN N <br />o t, airman <br />ABSENT <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />La a siadacy-;' Commissioner <br />
