SPACE NEEDS STUDY
The space needs assessment from 2016 was
provided to DLR Group, and it was determined there
were items not fully included in the preliminary
study. To ensure the cost issued in the bond
measure is accurate, DLR Group encouraged the
County to review the existing information with the
departments. Information that is inaccurate or not
fully reconciled in bond measures can lead to future
issues funding and space requirements.
DLR Group reviewed the existing information with
each department and revised the numbers in the
following matrix.
Departments highlighted in green have been provided
within the "Government Building" in the conceptual
plan. Items highlighted in blue are to be located
within the Courthouse building. Items in gray are
distributed throughout the complete campus.
8 &DLRGROUP
DLR Group also provided a space needs
assessment for the Sheriff Office and County Jail
to accommodate the full County Campus concept
as the preferred option. This information was used
to ensure the campus can accommodate the total
needs, but was not costed or developed into space
needs beyond locations on the campus plan.
