While rouline maintenance olfacilities is acccmplished by people with <br />the least amount of technical staff training, it is lhe mort critical to a visitor's experience, <br />Routine facility maintenanss can impact ttn usability of facilities; for example lcose gravel and debrle can <br />hinder the ability of a boat launch, route of travel, or roadway lo function as intended. lf fadEnErs and <br />railings are not routinely inspected and tightened or loose gravel is not rsmoved from paved lrail surfaces <br />whsre wheeled aclivities such as in-line skadng or roller skating takes place, this ls a safaly isrue. <br />3,5,2 Grounds <br />This ranges lrom littet removal, to turf mowing and rouiine maintenance of water rystems, The claanliness <br />of grounds and the quality of turf care frequently rank#Z in delorminers of visitor satislaclion based on user <br />comments at public recreation sites. This information will be reviewed nn an <br />annual basis to adjust e*limated work durations for specific taske, <br />A combination of lhe Maximo syslom {Facilities Department work order system) and sile rnaintenance <br />spreadoheets willbe utilized to schedule,lrack, and report work at Grant PUD recreation siles. As a goal, <br />any variances in work durations will be coordinated lo improve work planning efliciencies. <br />5
