A. It is the developer's responsibility to ensure all materials are tested and inspected as <br />required. <br />B. The developer's structural engineer or his representative, familiar with the structure's <br />design, shall review the construction in sufficient detail to confirm that the construction <br />is as specified. <br />C. Inspection of construction shall be conducted, as frequent as necessary to ensure the <br />construction conforms to the plans and specifications. A written log or report of all work <br />shall be furnished to the County Engineer at completion of the structure. <br />D. Testing of materials shall conform to the requirements of WSDOT Standard <br />Specifications, and WSDOT Materials Manual, latest edition. <br />E. When land use development activities increase the use of existing bridges, the bridges <br />shall be re -inspected and all inspection and testing results provided to the Department <br />of Public Works. Re -inspection of privately owned bridges shall be included in the road <br />certification. <br />F Inspection of existing bridges shall be conducted by a civil engineer licensed in the State <br />of Washington familiar with bridge design, construction and load ratings.
