into effect July 1st. Building Official Jeremy Larson provided <br />an overview of the energy credit issue. CDS has been providing <br />builder outreach meetings to the community. There are law suits <br />against the state right now that we are keeping track of. CDS <br />Director Carlson stated that CDS is going to put an amendment in <br />to Title 14, for when CDS adopts the building codes. CDS plans <br />on including a proposal to put that fire flow in rural areas, <br />this will provide something clear and predictable for people who <br />want to develop. <br />DAILY CUTOFF FOR RECEIVING APPLICATIONS <br />CDS Director Dan Carlson requested the BoCC to consider allowing <br />application submittal, for building permits and land use <br />applications, to have a time cutoff of 4:30 pm daily. The office <br />would still be open for customers from 8 am to 5 pm. CDS now has <br />the option for electronic submittal for customers to access at <br />any time.
