TJOSSEM RD SPEED STUDY <br />Josh Fredrickson briefed the Board of County Commissioners on a <br />request to reduce speed on Tjossem Road. Josh Fredrickson presented <br />the findings of the most current traffic study conducted and based on <br />the data Public Works requested to not move forward in reduction of <br />speed. Based on the findings The Board of County Commissioners deny <br />the request for public hearing and request Staff to analyze the <br />guardrail placement. <br />OTHER BUSINESS -HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN <br />Arden Thomas briefed the Board of County Commissioners on the status <br />of the multi -jurisdiction Hazard Mitigation Plan and that the Flood <br />Control Zone District has the budget and accepted lead on planning. <br />Arden Thomas requested to prepare a Request for Qualifications to <br />support staff in development of the Hazard Mitigation Plan.
