PURPOSE These Rules and Regulations are designed to protect the public health, safety, interest, and general welfare of the Operators, Lessees, Tenants, consumers, and users of the Bowers Field-Kittitas County Airport (Airport) and to restrict or prevent any activity or action which would interfere with the safe, orderly, and efficient use of the Airport by its Operators, Lessees, Tenants, consumers, and users. 2. INTENT Kittitas County (“County”), as the airport sponsor of Bowers Field (“Airfield”), has adopted these Rules and Regulations to provide guidance to all users of Airfield. It is in the interest and the intent of the County that those using the facilities and services will cooperate in keeping the Airfield safe, clean, and orderly. The County reserves the right to revise or amend these Rules and Regulations from time-to-time as necessary and as solely determined by the County. These Rules and Regulations do not supersede any requirements in any applicable law or regulation, and any provisions within the Kittitas County Code. 3. POLICY STATEMENT The Bowers Field Rules and Regulations includes by reference the following Guiding Documents. a. General Provisions and Definitions b. Leasing Policy c. Minimum Standards d. Applications, Permits, and Agreements e. Airport Rates and Fees Schedule f. Schedule of Insurance Requirements. Each of these documents may be updated and revised. Changes and amendments are incorporated by reference into this document 2. The effective date of the Rules and Regulations is the date the BOCC adopted by Resolution the Bowers Field Airport Rules and Regulations. Amendments, deletions, or changes will take effect on the day of adoption by the BOCC. 4. APPLICABILITY OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS Rules and Regulations apply to all tenants, visitors, and airport users directly related to the Airfield portion of Bowers Field.
