Specific to ORV recreation, what areas are legally used by recreationists, and what <br />unique features are available in different ORV areas that are sought by ORV <br />recreatio na lists? <br />e,.d. What public and private services are currently providing the needed support for the current <br />residential and visitor populations, and where are the shortfalls? <br />TNC anticipates the consultant to participate in two meetings with its collaborators associated with this <br />task: <br />• Kickoff meeting <br />• Draft results meeting <br />Task 2 — Economic Analysis of a New/Expanded Community Forest and General Consideration of <br />Alternative Approaches for the Conservation of the Cie Elum Ridge. <br />Task 2A <br />TNC and its collaborators seek to understand the merits and tradeoffs by means of this analysis of the <br />proposed community forest model and general alternatives in Task 2: <br />1. What are the merits and trade-offs associated with transitioning the Central Cascade Forest, LLC <br />land on the Cie Elum Ridge into Community Forest status, and integrated into the Teanaway <br />Community Forest? <br />2. What alternative approaches to conservation of the Cie Elum Ridge could be considered that <br />respect the natural values and provide economic benefits to the local community'? <br />3. What opportunities, benefits and impacts are projected under the community forest and <br />alternate conservation approaches?
