Barcoded tickets were sold and <br />zip codes for purchasers were recorded at time of sale. Tickets were scanned at <br />the gate for entry. Additionally, we collected accommodation information by direct <br />ask regarding overnight stay, residency, and accommodations at time of ticket <br />sale. We did the same during vendor, contestant and volunteer registration. <br />ln 2022 we had 1588 overall attendance for Friday and Saturday performances. <br />978 were from outside of Kittitas County and of those '138 were from outside of <br />WA state. 743 attendees utilized overnight lodging (hotel/motel, RVicamping, or <br />vacation rental). Using the 2.5 people per pd lodging night multiplier would make a <br />total of 297.2 paid nights. <br />2023 overall attendance is based on projected seating capacity and contestant <br />growth expected. We <br />are currently researching opportunities that may match our mission and 501c4 <br />status for 2023.
