Our exhibits feature nationally acclaimed artists
alongside emerging and regional artists. Our events are centered around art and
engagement and are fun ways to meet people and experience art. These events
range from artist receptions and talks, studio tours, to classes for all skill levels.
Additionally, our exhibits and regionally focused gift shop is available 6 days a
week, including Sundays for visitors to enjoy.
New studies are emerging too that ideniify the creative economy as the fastest
growing sector in the US. ln washington alone, the creative economy brought in
$70 Billion dollars in industry earnings (artist income, technology, writers, etc)and
grew 17o/o'!ear of year While nonprofits suffered greatly as result of the nonprofit,
these industries, who we intend to market to, are growing.
2500 character limit
Response 2.2 *Describe the prior success of your event/activity/facility in attraction tourists.
Prior to the pandemic (March 2020- now), our annual attendance had been
growing on average 10o/o a year. while individual events may have smaller
audiences (Pecha Kucha 130, average class size is 12, etc)collectively overthe
course of a year, they add up. our strength is in our diversity of offerings, our
consistent messaging and in our unique content. our attendance increased 30%
from last year to this year and we are hopeful that we will continue this trend and
move back toward prepandemic levels. Below are the numbers that we have
collected through counting attendance daily.
2023 projected 2022 p rojected 2021 2020 20 1 I 20 j 8 20 1 z 20 rc 2a 1 s 20 1 4 20 I J
18038- 30% increase 13,876 9B3B 9466 2s732249ss293022s48022is7 2063s
16767
2500 character limit
Application Questions: Parl 2
3l lrnpact
lf-app-16-03.co.kittitas.wa.us/Forms/form/submission/history/7751 1/85646?hideHeader=true 4t15
