KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2023 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 18, 2023 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Authorize the Publication of a Statement of Qualifications <br />Supporting Deployment of Broadband Internet Services in <br />the Communities of Edgemont and Thorp <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has been working with the county's <br />broadband consultant for the past several months. PW has <br />prepared a Statement of Qualifications supporting the <br />deployment of broadband intemet services to the <br />communities of Edgemont and Thorp, WA. Adoption by <br />the Board of a broadband service policy clears the way for <br />the first service solicitation. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Direct staff issue the proposed Statement of Qualifications. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Request for Statement of Qualifications; Statement of <br />Qualifications. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
