REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR SIGNATURE ON <br />DIGITAL SUBMITTAL CERTIFICATION TO THE COUNTY ROAD ADMINISTRATION <br />BOARD <br />Josh Fredrickson briefed the Board of County Commissioners on the <br />report requirements and the change in the diversion of funds to the <br />Sheriff's office due to acquisition of land for Search and Rescue <br />Facility. Josh Fredrickson requested the Chairs signature on CRAB <br />reporting. Commissioner Laura Osiadacz moved to approve Resolution <br />2023-046. Chairman Cory Wright seconded the motion. Approved. <br />EQUIPMENT RATES AND RENTAL (ER & R) POLICY FOR PUBLIC WORKS <br />Mark Cook briefed the Board of County Commissioners on the County <br />Road Administration Board (CRAB) requirement for Public Works to <br />establish an ER & R policy, articulating fleet management, purchase, <br />and use. The Board directed staff to bring forward legislation for <br />approval. <br />47 DEGREES NORTH TRANSPORTATION APPENDIX SEIS DISCUSSION <br />Mark Cook briefed the Board of County Commissioners on conversations <br />with City of Cle Elum and developers. Mark Cook expressed concern <br />with insufficient plan to address increased weekend traffic and the <br />second access onto Bullfrog Rd that has not been approved by the <br />County with potential for accumulating stress on intersections and <br />ramps in the area. <br />At 2:28PM the Board of County Commissioners announced they would <br />recess into Executive Session for 10 minutes with Mark Cook, Josh <br />Fredrickson, and Neil Caulkins per RCW 42.30.110 (i) To discuss with <br />legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency <br />enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing <br />the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, <br />the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or <br />is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the <br />discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency. <br />At 2:38PM the Board of County Commissioners requested 5 additional <br />minutes. At 2:43PM the Board of County Commissioners reconvened out <br />of Executive Session. No action taken. <br />ROBBINS ROAD DISCUSSION <br />Mark Cook requested the Board of County Commissioners direction on <br />improving Robbins Road from the turnaround to Sun East maintained <br />area and discussed potential for public access to National Forest <br />land.
