SCJ ALLIANCE <br />CONSULTING SERVICES <br />Exhibit A <br />Scope of Work <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste/Facility On -Call Services <br />Amendment 1 — Upper Court House Construction Documents <br />Kittitas County, WA <br />Prepared For: Patti Stacey, Director <br />Prepared By: Dan Ireland, PE <br />Date Prepared: February 17, 2023 <br />Introduction: <br />It is our pleasure to provide the following scope of work for <br />engineering services to develop a publicly bid package for <br />improvements at the Upper County Courthouse Parking Lot. The <br />scope of improvements is shown in the graphic. <br />Phase 4 Upper County Court Mouse <br />Parking Lot <br />Task 7 Preliminary Construction Documents <br />Our approach to this maintenance project is to keep it simple. <br />SCJ will develop this construction plan set with Bluebeam <br />software due to the nature of the improvements that do not <br />require a topographic survey. To complete the preliminary <br />construction documents, we will develop the following: <br />0 <br />1) Utility locates: SCJ will order utility locates for the <br />- ............... .......... <br />property to evaluate a location for the flag pole - — <br />and potential water line locations. We will then visit the site and measure the location of the <br />existing utilities for our project basemap. <br />2) Preliminary Plan Set <br />a) Cover Sheet with Summary of Quantities (1 sheet) <br />b) Existing Conditions and Removal (1 sheet) <br />c) Site Layout (1 sheet) <br />d) Site Details (2 sheets) <br />3) Special Provisions and Bid Documents: SCJ will develop construction specifications based on <br />WSDOT and APWA standards. In addition, we will update the front-end documents for the <br />subject project that includes the following: <br />(1) Bid Advertisement <br />
