9129122, 10:53 AM
Response 3.
Measuring Results*
LTAC Clerk Review
Describe how you will promote your evenvactivity/facility to attract tourists.
We have already started initial conversations with a local agency to assist in the
development of a strategic marketing and promotions plan. We intend to focus on
PUNCH Projects as a year-round arts and culture destination while highlighting
some of our more significant events such as "Barnstorm," our summer concert
series, and our workshops. We also want to collaborate with Ellensburg
organizations such as Gallery One and the Clymer to promote First Friday in
Ellensburg and First Saturdays in Thorp. And as mentioned before, we believe
that the "weekend roadtrip" approach and "come for the art, stay for the
adventure" is great for editorial promotion.
Our marketing strategy will be a mix of boosted Facebook and lnstagram ads,
radio spots, print ads, and editorial features. Radio spots outside the county will
consist of more general promotions, while local radio ads will be short-term to
promote weekly performers and events to attract tourists already intown.
A group of six visitors to PUNCH Projects recently said they were staying at an
AirBnB up the road. When they searched "things to do in Thorp" the only result
they got was the Thoip Mill. So we also want to expand our website content to
improve SEO and search results when tourists are looking for things to do when
planning trips.
We currently have an email list with 1303 subscribers to which we send a monthly
update. As we work with a professional agency to develop our marketing and
promotion strategy, we will be looking to grow our number of subscribers and take
full advantage of direct marketing via email to promote events, encourage
attendance, and increase overall sales.
2500 character limit
Application Questions: Part 3
4l Collaboration
lf your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events,
how is this accomplished?
lf-app-16-03.co.kittitas.wa.us/Forms/form/submission/history/7761 8/85645?hideHeader=true 8t17
