Project stakeholders willselect a <br />preferred alternative for additional refinement (Task 2.a.) <br />Deliverables: <br />Figures comparing alternative flood extents and BFEs to baseline BFEs and flood extents. <br />Conceptual sketches of the proposed alternatives <br />Assumptions: <br />Project extents, available work area, and channel realignments for both alternatives will be determined <br />throughcoordinationwiththeCountyandprojectstakeholders(Task2.2). lnitialgradingforthe <br />alternatives will be provided to WSE by the County as a LandXML for incorporation into the model terrain. <br />Presentation of results will take place via a virtual call that will last two hours. <br />Task 2.4. Preferred Alternative Refinement <br />WSE will refine the preferred alternative to maximize benefits and minimize impacts based on feedback <br />from stakeholders, WSE will run the model to simulate lhe I% AEP flood and compare results to baseline <br />conditions to document changes in flood depth and floodplain storage. WSE will generate figures <br />comparing baseline and proposed condition BFEs, and inundated extents. Results will be presented to the <br />County and project stakeholders to support land use planning discussions. <br />Deliverables: <br />Figures comparing the preferred alternative BFEs and flood extents to baseline BFEs and flood extents <br />Assumptions: <br />The preferred alternative condition will be determined through coordination with stakeholders. <br />Presentation of results will take place via a virtual call that will last two hours, <br />Task 2.5. Technical Memorondum <br />WSE will prepare a technical memorandum to document study methods, assumptions, and results. The <br />memorandum will also include descriptions of additional floodplain development factors that will need to <br />be evaluated/considered if the stakeholdergroup decides to advance the preferred alternative (e.g.a <br />FEMA conditional letter of map revision (CLOMR), compensatory storage requirements, floodplain impacts <br />that will need to be mitigated). The memorandum will be submitted to the County for review. WSE will <br />finalize the memorandum upon receipt of comments. <br />Deliverables: <br />Draft Memorandum <br />Final Memorandum
