Additional lnformaiion As much as the vidual events helped our small non-profit organization to survive -
when many other theatres shuttered completely, it is not the same as being able to
hold a live theatncal event. There is sorneihing vital that happens when a group of
diverse people come together to work on a creative pro;ect. There is an almost
cathartic release for audience patrons experiencing live theatre. lt helps us to look at
our world in new ways. laugh, ponder our lives, process emotions, and join together
as a community. And the theatre patrons give their energy back to the actors. lt is a
symbiotic relationship that transports the actor and audience menrber to another
world for a brief period of time. I was struck by how eager our audiences were this
spring and summer to enjoy the full experience of ilve theatre. We had several sell-
out performances, and every per{ormance there were huge cheers just for the
opportunity to meet back in person. lt reminds us of how vital the ads are, especially
in times of crisis to heip us all survive.
As Ellensburg's primary comnrunity theater company, we aspire to provide positive
experiences for Ellensburg families - from our "Rising Stars" productions that provide
a creative outlet specifically for middle school students and teens, to our Summer
Mainstage show that provides opportunities for both adults and children (often being
parents and their kids), and are ever finding ways of expanding or theatrical choices,
including non-musical productions, and even dinner theatre. Our youth develop a
passion for live performances that comes with the opportunity to feel the warmth of
the stage lights on their faces and the camaraderie of an ensemble of players. Our
adults gel to have an outlet for their creativity that they cannot typically find in their
usual daily lives and work together with others in the community whom otherwise
they might never cross paths.
2500 charact-.r lintit
SUppOfting DOCUmentS You nay up'oad ary supporlinq .loclinrerlls s.iclr as graphs itraqes diegrarts otatkeli|e rn?ile.ials. eic.
VMT-WebsiteScreenshot202O.jpg 52.68K8
You a,e allov/ed lo s0blrit rp to l] single page iU3 I elleri docurreris jn .JPal.
