Future Plans*KEEN increased sponsorship levels, vendor's fees, and other cost-covering fees for <br />participation in 2018. As the event grows we believe that our sponsorship levels will <br />increase and we will attract more vendors over iime causing this to continue to be a <br />revenue positive event for KEEN that wrll soon become self-sustaining. <br />We want to keep ticket prices low overall. so will increase 'add-ons' to the event. <br />Special speakers, workshops with CWU professors, art activities downtown, and <br />more. Most other bird fests do not charge an 'entry'ticket so it is impo(ant for us to <br />keep ticket prices low and find income fronr other sources. We are considerirrg a <br />'donation'ticket price instead. The committee is discussing many options. <br />As happens in the bird-watching world, once an event is established. birders slart to <br />look for event details earlier and earlier.
