These <br />funds will be used with villegance to achieve a successful marketing and adverlising <br />campaigrr geared towards tourism and the overall mission of the RDA. <br />The Roslyn Downtown Association has been the lead agency for downtown <br />revitalization for many years. Thousands of people visit the Roslyn downtown <br />annually because of its unique and authentic historical history and strr:ciures. unique <br />restaurants, shopping, biking and hiking. and events. <br />This application for Lodging Tax funding will assist the RDA in working with other <br />entities to promote downtown through several event projects and the partnership <br />events surrounding them. ln addition, the application will assist with funding a strong <br />year-round marketing campaign for visiting downtown Roslyn and highlighting the <br />revitalization work of the Roslyn Downtown Association, especially through the <br />pandemic. <br />Promoting downiown Roslyn as a destination has been a long-term goal which. <br />through a partnership wiih the Chamber's tourisrn office and irrprovements to the <br />downtown, is coming to fruition. By building a campaign to feature the downtown <br />and the many reasons to visit. whether it is for shopping and dining or as part of a <br />visit to Roslyn for an event. the annual campaign will help create a consjstency of <br />message that will resonate with visilors. The campaign to visit and enjoy downtown <br />on a year-round basjs will create value-added advantages for events that occur in <br />the downtown core arrd business support of local stores and the potential business <br />owners. <br />Our target audiences include Pterce/ King counties, Yakima county.
